Rabbi Meredith Cahn officiated a very personalized, meaningful, joyous, BEAUTIFUL ceremony for our destination wedding in Lake Tahoe. We had some unique challenges for a rabbi officiating a wedding ceremony-I am Jewish and my husband is not, and my husband has a teenage son (now my stepson :)).
Our first meeting with Rabbi Meredith was through Facetime where she asked many questions to begin to get to know us. We had the chance to meet her in person only once where we talked more about what traditions we wanted to incorporate into our Jewish wedding. She followed up with a written questionnaire for each of us to answer separately. The questions about us and our relationship were fun to answer and gave Rabbi Meredith a great picture of our relationship, our values, our story, etc. She used this information to create a ceremony that was so personalized and meaningful for us and for our guests. Rabbi Meredith also did a wonderful job helping us to incorporate my stepson into part of the ceremony, as well.
Rabbi Meredith has a positive energy and demeanor that came through as she was officiating our joyous ceremony. Overall, Rabbi Meredith did a fantastic job of customizing the ceremony for us and explaining the meaning of each ritual/tradition to our guests. She was very easy to work with and created a fabulous ceremony for us that we still enjoy watching on our video. We are grateful that we found such an amazing person and rabbi to help make our wedding so special. I HIGHLY recommend Rabbi Meredith as an officiant.*
